“Small steps for an even greener floral world”
We are delighted to host a new workshop where we will be sharing our experiences on how to make floristry more sustainable. Katy from Bracken and Twine Flowers will be leading this workshop and guiding guests through techniques on how to achieve stunning floral displays without the need for florist foam. Having practiced sustainable floristry for a number of years, Katy will take guests on her own “greener” journey and offer a useful insight into how we can all greatly reduce the environmental impact that floristry can still cause whilst still being able to create beautiful designs.
Guests will also be invited to get hands-on and create a wonderful summer centrepiece design using more sustainable techniques. Playing with a breath-taking array of gorgeous locally grown flowers, foliage and other natural elements, Katy will guide guests and encourage them to develop their own style and flare whilst considering form and texture in their arrangement. A fun and relaxed workshop for those who enjoy floral design and who would love some time to be immersed in a creative and inspirational environment.
The Introduction to Sustainable Floristry workshop will be taught by Katy of Bracken and Twine Flowers
