Christmas Workshops
“Christmas – a time for family and friends, a time for home”
We love Christmas and it’s a time to make that extra effort to decorate your home ready to welcome friends and family over to celebrate this special season. We believe that the build-up to Christmas can be just as much fun as the big day itself and we are delighted to offer a range of festive flower workshops to get your celebrations off to an enjoyable start.
We are delighted to welcome Katy from Bracken and Twine Flowers who will be teaching our Christmas classes. Katy will be bringing her wonderful natural and romantic style of floristry and we are delighted to be offering a range of beautiful and creative festive classes.
So much more than holly…
As the season turns from Autumn to Winter, nature brings new treasures to behold that are rich in textures and make the most wonderful displays. So, to make the most of nature’s bounty, each year we fill our covered courtyard with an abundance of freshly cut seasonal flowers, berries, herbs and foliage. We also include seedheads, grasses, pinecones, twigs, bark and many other natural materials together with beautiful ribbons and lots of other festive extras. Guests are able to get creative and with expert guidance, all our participants can make unique designs to take home or give as beautiful gifts.
All our designs are free of florist foam and cellophane wrapping to provide a wonderful “green” Christmas with a beautiful natural edge.
As with all our workshops, participants can expect delicious refreshments and a fun and relaxed atmosphere all set within our beautifully converted barns. We are also delighted to include a pop-up shop for our festive workshops where a selection of beautiful homewares, decorations and floral gifts will be available to purchase.
“Welcome Winter, welcome to your pared back beauty“
