A fun introduction to Floristry offering a glimpse into the world of floral design and the basic design principles and elements that will help you create great designs. A great opportunity for anybody who is thinking about starting a vocational qualification or just a new hobby.
In this 2 part course, you will cover principles and elements of design, colour theory and floristry basics including conditioning and care and tools of the trade. After a step by step demonstration, we will be making a different design at each session and will start with the essential and important hand-tied bouquet together with beautiful wrapping techniques and ideas. We will also cover elegant table centres which can be used for a wide range of occasions. Our relaxed and fun courses will also provide you with lots of tips and guidance to give you the confidence and knowledge to have a go at further designs at home.
Includes all flowers, materials, equipment, expert tuition, coffee and cake and all designs made can be taken home.
